Kimberly Kelly

Kimberly Kelly

From a talented gene pool (her sister is Kristen Kelly, Sony/Arista artist), Kimberly is a well-known singer/songwriter in her own right. She’s already performed for a US President, been featured in her own PBS Channel “Texas Music Cafe” special, and performed on the Grand Ole Opry with Billy Joe Shaver. Growing up in Lorena, Texas afforded her the opportunity to “cut her teeth” so to speak by touring and releasing singles on the Texas music scene. Recently, she has been dividing her time between Texas and Nashville, after being given an opportunity to sing harmony on the road with her sister on the Rascal Flatts and Brad Paisley tours last year.

She is not wasting any time in Nashville either, and spends her “down time” writing with a super star list of songwriters that includes: Trent Willmon, Will Rambeaux, Doug Johnson, Gary Nicholson, Radney Foster, and more. She has also written with Nashville and Texas legends Sonny Throckmorton and Billy Joe Shaver. Kimberly plays the mandolin, and her influences include: Lee Ann Womack, Patty Loveless, Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton, as well as pop stars and rockers like Jewel, Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty—and even Americana acts like Kim Richey and Hayes Carll.
